Default Cancel my build...

Well guys I found out that the frame I'm building off of is useless... No title. eBay frames are expensive and I can buy a complete bike for only slightly more. So should I part my stuff out or wait to afford a titled frame?

What does a title search company do? The story is that the guy I bought it from bought it as parts and never got a title. He knows the last registered owner though and told me he has tried to contact him several times and hasn't been successful.

Roger that! And that must be nice up there! If I do part out it'll def be going towards a 1000f! They have a few in the 2k dollar price range within 400 miles from me.

The purpose of the build from the start was to have something that my son helped me build so I get some time in with him. My dad did the same with me and those are my best memories as a kid.

Very noble and righteous endevour doing that imo , part your stuff out and keep looking
winter is always the best time for finding good deals the way I see it.

try searching this way in google searchbox (use these parameters for anything on any site !)

cbr1000f site:cycletrader.com
cbr1000f site:craigslist.org

Hey:

"bjjrev What does a title search company do?"

They can get you the title for a fee.

"Sprock:try searching this way in google searchbox (use these parameters for anything on any site !)"

Also use CBR1000F as some sites are case sensitive.
