Can i use a 180 rear tire?
My 93 1000f has a 170 rear but the rim looks to be the same as my f4i which runs a 180.
There's better deals on tires when you buy the 120 front/180 rear combo so i was thinking about doing that. Any reasons I shouldn't??? Thanks

When I went to the 180 it turned much better than a worn out 170 so I can't really give any feedback on a new 170 vs new 180.
In reality the 180 is only 10mm or 5mm/side wider and there is not a whole lot of difference. The 180 however feels like it has better grip and I have no intentions of going back to the 170.

I'd go along with that 180's being a plus
