Default Cam chain noises - suspicions

A while ago, I changed my oil, and immediately afterwards started hearing the old CCT noise.
Dragon 64 (Hi Carl) also mentioned the same thing.
I've deliberately left my oil over the limit this time, and now it's a bit thicker....and GUESS WHAT ?
NO CAMCHAIN NOISE AT STARTUP
I would therefore suggest to the forum at large that in warmer climates, you go up to a 15 or 20w-40 oil, which may resolve cct noise issues. I'll be changing my oil now, and replacing with Rotella T Synthetic 15W-40- I consulted the Chevron AND Mobil Technical engineering Managers and they all said it should be fine in my engine. I'll keep you posted.

Hey Cobber, they still use Imperial spanners - talk about the stone age, huh ?[X(]
For you US residents out there :
To change Kilometers to miles x5 and Divide by 8, soo 100 kilos x5/8 = 62,5 miles
To change miles to K's its 100 miles x8 divided by 5= 160 K's
Even you guys can do it !...........
