Default BULB ADAPTOR RINGS

As we all know, Honda in their wisdom, make bulbs for our bikes, and "normal" H1, H4 etc don't fit.
There's a guy in Canada who makes adaptor rings, which allow you to use standard bulbs in your bike. I have a pair in my F-L, and blue halogen" bulbs, which work brilliantly.
Pic of ring attached. Details ca be found on e-Bay USA sellers name is rrbarna , or Cycle Machine works
cost $9.99 and worth every penny.....

Or you can save the $10 and just buy a standard bulb, cut one or two of the tabs off the bulb's base (I forget which- it's been awhile), and mount the bulb sans tab(s). The bulb's retainer clip will keep it from going anywhere.

Or you can just have an European model and use standard h4 bulb straight on

[sm=happybounce.gif] Yes, my boring single-coloured Euro spec bike also takes the H4 as standard. I have some orange glow Phillips ones. Which are nice. And orange.

I wasn't yelling at you Shadow1, I just wanted you to read about the coathanger fix.
Also, there are only 15,683 post in the CBR1000F section of the forum. You need to get reading. As of thisreply there are only 1,887 topics. I find it hard to believe that you didn't do a search on coathangers. What were you thinking?
