Hi Guys

I have had the Hurricane for about two months now, and am loving it.

One adjustment I am considering is shortening the front brake level as I am having trouble comfortably reaching the lever. This seems simple enough, just wind the adjuster in. However, is there anything that I need to consider before doing this? Will it affect the brakes?

Uh, what brake lever adjuster? You must have an aftermarket lever.

 

If you have an adjuster, that's what it's for. Just be sure not to bring it in so far that you don't get the full range of motion on the lever. You don't want to short your max braking torque. With braided lines, my lever only goes through about a 3/4" arc from off to full-on.

 

My stock had an adjuster , replaced by aftermarkets , now both clutch and brake
have adjusters, sure wind it back but only to within 1 inch of the bar at full "pull" imo
