Fellow riders
What kind of foot apparel are you wearing when riding. me i have Alpinestars touring boots but looking for somethhing else probably. |
Hi Dragon,I have the Alpinestars moto gp boots and love them. But they did cost around
550.00 at the time.If I had to buy boots today I would look for the BMW touring boots they had some last year for under 200 at Moto Internationale. My friend bought a pair and says they are so conferable, very cool looking to with the latch system that they use,and very easy to get in and out of. |

The best boot right now is the Supertech-R... I have the SMX-R boot and think it's a great... Very comfortable and really good ventilation great road / track boot...... |
First off,I'm sure you think that using the letters wtf sounds cool, second is that Alpinestars made this boot a few years ago as a special edition, and my opinion is that Alpinestars make a very good product. If you want I will post pics tonight of the boots that you say don't excist. As for your Supertech-R boot that you say are the best, thats your opinion or somebody else opinion, like saying what is the best bike to own..........................

Hey there Carl, I've been wearing Sidi Vertigo's for about two years now.
They're a race style boot, very comfortable and a handy vent for warmer weather. They also do a perforated version for really hot weather. There is also a calf adjustment so you can customise the fit. Cost new is about £200, though I bought mine second hand (though virtually new with the stickers still on them), for £100. http://i457.photobucket.com/albums/q...59485_zoom.jpg |
Boots are like helmets - each manufacturer has a different fit.
Many of the guys i ride with swear by Sidi and wouldn't have anything else. My feet are clearly not Sidi shaped cos I could not get comfy in any Sidi boot. My current boot is the AlpineStars SMX-4 - they have done me well for a few years now. |
Sorry to everybody if I sounded rude, but I do not like it when somebody questions me like that,I think I was also in a bad mood when I looked outside and saw all that snow.
The Sidi boots are also very good, and when it comes to boots,go with what is comfortable on your feet.It depends on your size and shape of your feet as compared to the design of the boot. When you go shopping just try them all and see whats a good fit for you,and there should be some good deals on now.Now can we get some warm weather to melt all this snow!!!!! |
Seen sunny all day here in the uk :D

Sidi Blade. Very comfortable.

Is it really necessary to spend huge amounts of money on boots? I got mine for £50 from our local Honda dealer about 3 years ago .... they are generic touring boots and keep my feet warm and toasty! ;) .... No complaints with them at all! :)
