Congrats on your new bike, but R1000 you know the one very big fault this bike has right???

It's not a HONDA

In Denmark we call Suzuki's "skru i zuki" Which in english means a bike you will use a lot of time on with a screwdriver and wrench to get it working

Just kidding. looks awesome, and probably ismuch much fasterthan our old canes...

Thanks Noe,

The ugly paperbox on the rear actually makes the bike look a bit better, it hidessome of the pig-**** []Anyway, I feel I have come to home with this bike. No bike is best on everything but this one fits me very well with my size (5.7) and driving habits. In a way it is a mix of a Sportbike and a Goldwing.

Have you ever tried the old Busa?

If yes, how does the new one compare in driving position?

The red looks nice, I like the Brown & the Grey/Black as well
Is the bigger engine much better that the orgininal 1300

Update: I parked next to a Grey/Black onethe other day- Like the Red better, I need to finda brown one to park next to.

Yes I've tried a -99. The new bike works better as a unit but the basic ergonomy appears to be about the same. The fuel tank is not so wide on the -08, which is good. Both bikes are quite compact and are not in the same division as CBR 1000 F concerning comfort. The Bird and CBR 1000 F is better for a large person, the Busa is better to me since everything is closer. The Busa may even be more like the CBR 1000 F than the Bird, except for the much higher footpegs.

The new Busa turns very nice thrue sweepers, the old version is a bit under-steered.

The engine is much better on the -08, much better response. You can make a 12 o clock very easy with the -08.

If the pegs are higher than the 1kF, I can take it off my wish list. I am 6ft 1in. I would be cramped on it. I am a little cramped on the 1kF. On a CB750F I used the rear pegs after awhile but not on the 1kF. I don't like stopping to stretch. You did get the better color, it looks nice.
