RE: bike reves up when pull in on clutch
Possibly frayed cables or the twist grip sticking. Make sure that the throttle "snaps" back to its home position every time you let go of the grip. The cables may also be binding due to them being directed incorrectly. Make sure the tank isn't binding on them & they are not kinked in any way.

I don't think it's clutch-related.
More likely your choke cable is sticking, or throttle cables need adjusting - there are two, one pulls, one pushes (sort of) maybe there's an adjustment problem, ond one is too tight (or the other's too loose ) ?

Because the cables are push pull... try pushing the throttle closed to see if she slows down ...
If that does nothing ... disconnect the choke cable to make sure its off ...
As far as a vacume leak goes ... even with the clutch in or out ...it would idle very fast , depending on the leak size ..
I think that if the engine speed changes for any reason while altering the clutch position while stand still in gear .. you have a clutch drag issue to look at ...
As mentioned though, the cables are the first place to start in either case ..
