What model year is it?
Whats is the brand name of the bags?
By the way, the number you have given for the Helibars is a phone number?
Looking at there home page (http://www.helibars.com/) i can´t find helibars for the CBR?
Please advice.
The problem isn't just the rise, but also the angle of the bars. I wanted mine higher and angled more straight like a drag bar. I raised the clip-on's 3/4 inch. I think that is the maximum safe distance while still clamping securely onto the fork tube. I then angled them forward. I used an adjustable pitch/bevel gauge to get each bar at the same angle. With the angle of the bars more flat, it's easier to push the 600 pound 1000F around tight corners. I thought the genmars were just 3/4 inch spacers? The best would be the LSL kit which uses honest-to-God real handlebars: http://www.spieglerusa.com/cfm/sbk.cfm
ya i've seen those lsl conversions and if they didnt cost 300 dollars i think i would have already bought that, they are very sexy. i think i might just find some motocross style clamps and drill a hole in the top of my triple tree and fit bars on that way. wont look as cool but sure will cost a lot less.
