So here is a wierd query...

I'm looking to setup the hurricane with some panniers. My thought was to possibly use the Givi V35's with custom built connectors (with the givi tubular mounts). If anyone out there owns the Givi V35's (even on another bike) and have a CBR1000f would they be willing to snap a few pics of the bags next to the bike? I'm wondering what it would look like from rear, side etc. Mostly curious about the curved back side and how it would fit the bike.

My thought would be to devise quick disconnects like the PLX so the rack comes off when not in use.

I looked at the V35 PLX option ....... then went why bother the E 41's have more
room combo locks and top access hatches

Have an N140 Wingrack on the way .........sent back the Givi Y155 gonna make
my own quick disconnect mount for the N140 as they are unsightly without the
boxes on......imo

 

Here's one without the case mounted and one with case mounted. The rear shot makes the case a little disportionate to the bike (a CBR F3), but the only one I had handy.
