Default Any suggestions on soft saddle bags.

Anybody have any suggestions on soft saddlebags for a 87 Hurricane. Looking to buy some for an upcoming trip. Already have a Nelson Rigg tank bag. Any knowledge would be apprecitated.

I'm currently using a set of Rapid Transit Recon bags. Expandable, took a crash pretty well. My big complaint is that the front and back loops hook together under a very tight cover (hard to get your fingers in to unhook them after they are tightened). So I've just left them on all year.

I have Cor Tech Sport soft saddlebags and they lay perfectly on my bike. I highly recommend them.

I have cortech bags - they hold enough stuff, and are secure on the bike well past 130mph. New Enough has great deals on most things, browse their catalogs:

Sport Tail Bag:

Tail Bag (I have this one):

Side Bags (I have these ones):

Note the angle is for exhaust clearance. On my f4 I have ~5-6" clearance to the pipe... you probably only need 3"

HUGE Saddle bags:

Luggage page:

And as always - check their closeout pages:

Thanks guys for the info. I really like those nelsonrigg silverstreak bags. Basically wanted to see what would work on a Hurricane because of her unique figure in the back. Thanks again for all who reply.

I've got a set of RKA bags - they are a bit pricey (came with a VFR I bought years ago) - but they mount easily - maybe 2-3 minutes to fully secure/remove the set, fit the bike well, stay attached at serious speeds, hold a pretty good amount, and look good full or empty. They have served me well for 10+ years and have more than 20,000 miles on them from various bikes. Good gear - made by and for riders.

You can see their product line at www.rka-luggage.com
