So I put driving lights in just about every position: mirrors (above and below), forks (fender mount, did not work it all), front axle pinch bolt. So now I'm thinking of copying the BMW K 1600 set up: come out the side off of the motor mount right below the crash bumpers. Reverse the bolt so the nut is on the outside making removal easy when the panel needs to come off.
