Alternator price AU$

My alternator is hardly charging... can anyone give me a ballpark price for a reconditioned alternator for a '95 in Australia?

Just take it to a re-winding service.

The alternator'snot the problem anymore... it's the regulator rectifier

It's on order aftermarket andI hope it's fixed in time for the Christmas break!

Apparently they can't be reconditioned. Oh well, does $150 sound reasonable?

New honda OEM, yes. Aftermarket, a little high. But you live in the middle of nowhere, so it's reasonable.

Don't feel bad, I live on the outskirts of Nowheresville, I pay even more.

Try $242 for the part+ 3.5hr ($210) labour...

The labour included checking the alternator and general testing to find the faulty part.

Oh well... 'tis only money [sm=imsmilin.gif][sm=sigh.gif]
