Alternative swing arms
Are there any that fit and would look better than the original? I have an 87 street fighter and have been thinking of another look for the swingarm. Also in doing so get a shock upgrade which is a benefit. Not interested in a single side option. Even thought about welding onto it for a better look. Any thoughts or pics of what folks have done is always cool.

Cool stuff. Whenever you take metal off of a structural component, strength should be a consideration, but I would think there'd be plenty of meat left on the bone. Looks like they milled it, which is the correct way. Using a grinder (or even a file) you would have a very difficult time getting it exactly centered/straight. Might need a lathe to turn down a couple wheel spacers
I haven't experimented with rear swaps before, but the nice thing about it is that so long as you can find something that physically fits, it's generally possible to do. Good luck
