Alternative front indicators for my '88 CBR

Right you lot ... help/suggestions needed please.....

Need to fit some front indicators to the CBR so that it will pass it's MOT test (UK). The old ones that used to be fitted looked really bad and pointed inwards due to the angle of the fairing panels (see photo). I've been thinking about some of the flush fitting ones off ebay but have doubts that they will pass the UK MOT test... The originals had 20w bulbs and the ones in the picture had 10w, so flashed too fast (may need to get a new flasher unit or fit some resistors???) Soooooooo, suggestions please? What's going to look ok, but not cost a mint??? As you can see, I've had the stock indicator holes filled for a smoother look, so need some input.... :)

I was thinking along these lines, but am open to suggestions....................... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Flush-Moun...item414a354ab5

P.S: Photo is about 2 years old and she now has 2 mirrors and a blue screen! ;)

I'd look at these...........:)

or

eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace

I had a set of those flush mounts on my GPZ900R and I removed them - they were useless in anything except full darkness and dangerous IMHO :)

Hey:

The mirrors with built in indicators work great. They also clean the bike up, for older CBRs tend to look funny with new sleek surface mounts. They do not have good lines for them, IMHO. Both would work to pass mot, price would be the diff in selection.

I love your windscreen bling Mark. Excellent idea. Good to see her looking glorious again and out of the garage at last. Good work geez!
Indicators? As above or go back to stock.
So good to see you back!

I'd definitely go with the mirror/indicator option, I'd paint 'em white to blend in with the rest of the bike though, otherwise they'd stick out like a sore thumb.

Glad you're back on the road :)
