Aftermarket Exhaust
 

Been looking at the different suppliers of a 4to1 exhaust for my 94 1000f when it hit me, someone might have one they want to sell.

Sprock may have one for you - I think he just went back to two pipes........

Went to two but added a second viper can to the one that was already there
With oem down pipes Never used a single down pipe setup just plugged one side off

Sprock if you don't mind can you show me how you capped off one side of your your exhaust and where you got the supplies from. Thanks ahead of time. I would like to be removable so if i want to go back to two cans i can.

2 1/8" diameter 1" thick aluminum plug

They come up on ebay under metalworking & industrial supply sometimes

From twin stock cans to a single full flow open can & one side plugged.

You should shim the carb needles + 1 shim on each carb - an easy 10min task.
It gets rid of any hesitation and "lean out" and makes for a smooth throttle and power
all the way up the rpm scale.

Going back to two full flow cans - required rejetting the carbs - extra shims still
stay in.............. again for smooth power curve all the way to red line

You can just run without doing any carb mods - but you won't get the full grunt
from the motor - mpg however will be good :D

I was wondering if a person could just block off one side. Well now I know. However I think I will stick with my dual Yoshi's but I may however remove some baffling down the road to make it a little throatier.
