vessel expansion
Health to all. I am a walter from Italy and I am happy owner of a cbr 1000 f sc21 of 1987. I have fully restored it. I have just one doubt. The radiator expansion vessel is subjected to the thermostatic valve cap. Therefore the refrigerant does not fall by gravity. In case of need, how can the coolant be reintegrated? In the storage tank which liquid to insert? Pure or diluted refrigerant ? Thank you all for the answers. Hello

You can top-up coolant by pouring it into the overflow tank, but if the bike was totally drained, you should add it directly into the system by filling at the radiator cap. It is located under the tank near the front of the bike. That's what I'd recommend
Make sure to check the fluid level after riding it a couple times. Sometimes air needs to escape so it may need to be topped up again afterwards
You should use premixed coolant, or else you can use the concentrate mixed 50/50 with distilled water
The manual has more detail if you're stuck. Hope that helps

It should have read,
Read the label of the coolant because some coolant is premixed 50/50. Don't dilute it further.
I have also used it. I have also mistakenly added water to it and had to toss it out.
