87 1000F For sale
 

I have a 1987 CBR 1000F with a little bit over 13,000 on the clock that I would really like to sell. I'm posting this messege on here since it is a bit more of a specific market so it is not listed anywhere else yet. The previous owners did some weird stuff asthetically to it, such as it has 93` 900RR fairings which doesn't look horrible except some spots where my rattle can paint job did cure that well. It also has a 12" extended swingarm and a single Yosh can which was banged up when I bought it. I will not lie, the bike needs some work such as a new throttle cable, choke cable, and tires (previous owner liked to do burnouts). As for the work I put into it, a new Uni air filter, battery (on a tender since it has been sitting), cleaned the carbs, replaced the clutch mastercylinder and slave cylinder, fair at best paint job (dark charcoal), and a new seat cover which I made not perfect but I was suprised of how it turned out. It has come along way since I picked it up from an aircraft paint shop covered in over spray and it certainly has a great engine and transmission.
