That was great. Makes me feel better about the one that I'm looking at picking up. It's been sitting in a field for about 10 years.

Don't just consider picking it up CD drewford - DO IT
You'll kick yourself if you don't.
Just wait 'till you ride, one, you'll see why we love these bikes.......!!
And if it's too far gone (VERY unlikely) you can strip it for parts, we're always looking for bits.
GET IT HOME, QUICKLY.......

I always thought garden cane was some kind of illegal substance - you know, like Happy Tobacco, giggleweed, plantocollapso....?
And any more cheek out of you, my old Nova Scotian hockey fan, and I'll dust off my skates....... Let's just hope it was a different production run to mine, tho' .....unless of course it was yours, Gill....ar ar Just wait till yours grinds to a halt in the middle of Saskatchewan......

Hey dont say that. not that I would ever need to go to Saskatchewan for anything, but everytime I drive I constantly think about my cam chain packin it in. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr. It sounds like a old typewriter at idle!

Could be VERY expensive if you leave it too long....are you saying it rattles even when it's
WARM ??????? If so............NOT GOOD. Don't leave it too long, my old lobster basher.
Pity we don't live closer, could have it done in about 4-5 hours, new tensioner, chain, the lot.

Mostly at idle.At least i hope its the CC and CCT and not the other chains.............shivers
Shadow, I'm still waiting for my DID chain to come in from Mexico. Its on back order. And waiting for my chain tool to come from Flordia and my tensioner from somewhere in the UK. I hope it holds up til then. BTW, I know you said the DID cam chains come already split, but do they come with a master link? and can you get these master links seperately somewhere????
