Default 22 Litre tank range.

Hi All,
I'm in the UK and recently bought a 94 US version. It has the 22 Litre tank (5.81 US gal, 4.84 Imp)
What kind of range can I expect from it?
(Urban and Motorway/Highway)
I've read that 186 miles (300km) is possible.

Appreciate your views/experiences.
Thanks,
Aid01

186 miles might be theoretically possible, but there are so many variables, you'd be brave to push it that far.

These bikes are very heavy and there not fun to push, especially on a nice hot day, when you're all geared-up I speak from personal experience

I found on my bike the fuel gauge was pessimistic, so I'd just fill up when it read empty. If you're going long distances, then keep your speed steady and ride her until you hit reserve, take a note of the miles and do the maths.

I do remember at around 140mph she drinks fuel quite rapidly
