Default 1993 cbr 1000f

I am in desperate need of an upper cowl/front headlight fairing for my 1993 cbr 1000f. I have looked everywhere and can not find one. It can be used or aftermarket. Can anyone help or at least give me some direction.

Good luck. There are a number of people here looking for plastic parts for their bikes. To the best of my knowledge, there are no aftermarket fairings for your bike (one company makes aftermarket lowers for earlier model 1000F's). Keep an eye on ebay since fairing pieces do come up for auction, but you need patience and dilligence. Anyfairings off of model years '93 thru '99 will fit, though likely will not be color matched. For new oem (expensive) try Ron Ayres at http://www.ronayers.com/fiche/200_03...mp;parent=5440
Oh, and since your name is bikergirl, I assume you're female. Welcome. I don't think there are many of you on here. Watch your language boys.

Thanks for the info. I have spoke with some plastics manufacturers and they saidthe same. I was just hoping someone had info that I had missed. The bolt patterns are the same through 99?? I have a 90 and with some modification I could make it work, but I like the way the 93 looks, and I was not sure if any other years would work(color is not an issue). Will the other years line up with the 93 side fairings or am I going to have to replace everything?

Plastics were essentially unchanged, except for paint, from '93 to '96 (US) or '93 to '99 (elsewhere) so lining up with side panels shouldn't be a problem. I am confused, though. Is your bike a '93 or a '90?
