Looks like the bike is sold (through the listing on this site). The deposit is in the mail and it will be a week or two until the bike is picked up and paid for, but if for some reason this deal fals apart I will bump this topic back to the top.

Thanks!!

The original bar ends and windscreen sold last fall to someone theough this site so unfortunately there are no parts available.

As to the bike, I am already suffering from seller's remorse on this one so really wondering if I did the right thing, but the deal will go through one way or another...

Gorgeous bike, and my favorite color scheme too (shades of gray/silver/black). Wish mine were that color, I have the red/white/black scheme.

Well, we're getting down to the final throws. If you've been here long enough you might remember that a few years ago I crunched my CBR-1000F in grand style. (100+MPH ending with removing a guardrail post with the rear end.) It was stock, all original (minor suspension changes to the front), and virtually mint even with 122,000 miles on it. It was beyond doubt my favorite "all around" bike, suitable for long distance touring but also capable enough when it was time to "get busy". Even track road it occasionally (maybe you've seen some pics or the video of a slide and save). I've been watching for one ever since. It had to be the '90, silver and gray color combo, and VERY clean.

Only one has shown up, in Florida, that met the criteria of super clean and very stock, right down to the massive mud flap rear fender, and I missed getting it by a few hours. Because I wasn't finding a whole bike I had started putting mine back together. It is done mechanically, road tested, and all functions are fine, but the cosmetics have yet to be completed. And it needed EVERYTHING. Yes, EVERYTHING! Then this one showed up and I wasn't about to let another one go by the way. Well, wish me luck. I suppose I'll be off to the great white north very soon, hopefully bringing home my brand new (to me) ideal streetbike. I'll keep you all posted.
