Hey guys,

I am new to the cbr life! I purchased a 1990 cbr1000f last week. This bike is so awsome! It is all original and running strong. The only thing is the fairings are in rough shape, Im taking the bike to a track soon for my first track ride, im worried what im going to do if i lay the bike down. Im looking to replace the fairings anyway. Does anyone know what my options are for replacing the plastics on my bike? Im willing to mod it and use different year plastics if i have to but id really like to keep it original or replica replacement fairings. Does anyone know what i can do?

 

Welcome to the forum Delreyjr, keep an eye out on E-bay for cheap ones, new old stock is getting hard to find, so 2nd hand is probably your best bet

thanks guys i appreciate the help, only fairings i found on ebay so far were either insanely overpriced for one piece, or a set from out of country and some of the pieces are broken. Im actually haveing coolant problems now im going to make another post about. hopefully i can get some help on this one.
