Got a reply back, as far as the engine goes, he only has parts of the engine. The cylinders are gone. I've asked him about the pistons and the head, but haven't got a reply back.

Are you the one after the crank and the cams? I'm only interested in the pistons and the head.

Just a little heads up for anyone that is thinking of dealing with this seller. I’m getting weird feelings from the replies I got back from this guy. Looks like he does have the parts that I’m after but it when I asked for high resolution and detailed pics of them, I got the following reply:

Seller:

I don't have the caps. I might be able to get them back.
Sounds like you might want to see if you can find new parts from Honda
or somewhere. I sell used parts they are not perfect but they are a lot cheaper

Me:
Thanks for the pictures but the resolution is too low to see any details of the parts, the pictures are very small and low quality. If you could make high resolution pictures of all the parts, I would have a closer look at it. This would make me more comfortable. I didnʼt see it in any of the pictures, but I presume, that the cam bearing caps will be included with the head, right?

Once I see the high resolution pictures, Iʼll make an offer, before it, there is no real sense to do it. Iʼve CCʼd my yahoo account too so I can keep in touch after working hours.

Seller:

See photos. The pistons are in nice condition, hardly any scoring. The head is good
also. When my friend the master mechanic comes over I will have him check out the parts
The Post Office has a cheap shipping rate if I can get the head will fit in the box.
Make offer on parts

I don’t think what I’m asking is unreasonable, especially considering the circumstances that I’m 5000km away. When I was selling parts, I did everything that the buyer wanted before they decided to commit to a sale. Doesn’t sound like he give a rat’s a$$ if he makes a sale or not.

I emailed him about the bar ends, his reply was that since he would not be able to sell the front end for as much without them he was going to charge me the same price as new ones, I have decided to order them from bike bandit. I would rather pay for shipping and wait than deal with his logic.
