1000f headers getting red hot
whats up all, got a problem. you know the little plastic 3 way piece on right side of bike for the coolant hoses. i ve replaced three of them over the years. but this last time some pieces got lost because they broke freee inside and i tried taking the whole coolant system and flushing, i found pieces in the radiator.
i tried vacumming out the sides of the head, nothing.
or i changed the jets about a month ago and maybe that could be, or the plugs are mis gapped or bad
i did try starting it without any of the coolant system on and let it warm for abot 3-5 min and #1 cylinder still got hot. i did notice it seemed to get hotter than normal within 5 min the gauge is almost half way, but that was with coolant in it

Well, your post dosn't make much sense, but from what I gather, some little plastic pieces are inside the watter jacket of your engine, so you ran it for 5 miutes without coolant? If you don't have any coolant in your engine, then the gauge usually won't read anything but the bike will still overheat.
I wouldn't worry to much about the plastic, I'd just fill it with water and go. You could put a screen in one of your hoses to catch the pieces and then check it in 100 miles or so.
