Default 1000f cams

Guys I need your knowlage again. I just bought 2 cams When i got them there a little different. The new ones have oil journals manufactured in them. the orignals dont, only on the caps.? Is this a revised version of the same cam? They cam out of a 90 and mine is a 87. All the parts sites have the same part number. Is this a issue?

Some pics would help............
I don't think it'll be a problem, though.

If you're talking about an oil groove chiseled into the bearing surfaces then from an engineering perspective they should cause no problem at all. I do agree with Shadow that some pics would help though.

^^ Exactly. If it's just a difference of some oil channels, they're fine. I would take a few measurements if you suspect the wrong cams and go from there.
