I'm a wix/napa Guy myself...........when you cut open one of their cans
they are all quality through and through.

I say wix napa .........'cause NAPA's are made by WIX I believe
I use WIX/NAPA in my Volvo for oil and tranny (gm volvoized version)

Adding to the list,
Purolator Pure One PL14612 or Purolator Pure One PL14610 (the latter is about 3.25 inches long but still fits)
Mobil M1-108 or Mobil 1 M1-110 (the latter is about 3.25 inches long but still fits)
Bosch 3323 (longer than Bosch 3300)
WalMart SuperTech ST7317
Interesting to note it the last time I checked Mobil 1, Bosch and the Walmart brand were all made by Champion

I use the Purolator filters. They get excellent reviews, and are like $4 from the Advance Auto down the street.
I use the Purolator L14610 or PL14610 (PureOne).

They are the 20 x 1.5mm thread.

If you're looking for an excellent source for MC filter cross reference.....
this is the ticket.

The site has been up forever, and gives you all the info you need for just about any bike out there... We're a "#5" on the chart...

As far as the Wal-world Super Tech, I read a comparison (it was on a Kawasaki forum, yes I used to own one...) that showed the Super Tech , aka Champion, had more filter area and better steel, heavier I think, than a lot of the national brands at less than 1/2 the cost.

Hey:

"Sprock: anyone Using one of these ??"

Yes I do, In all 3 of my race bikes and in 2 street bikes, Scotts are very good filter and a bit messy to clean, but you can see what is going thru your engine. When on sale they are a great buy to me.

I just bought a 1987 Honda CBR1000F Hurricane and want to change the oil, also running what seems somewhat on the Hot side of warm, so going to flush the Radiator, change the plugs and air filter. Any other suggestions. I'm not a mechanic but can do the easy stuff as well as the next person, especially now with nearly a total run through on You Tube. Thanks for the Oil Filter Codes, cause just going to Canadian Tire, rather than SG Power, (Motorcycle Sales and Showroom) where everything is more expensive by quite a bit, so having the codes makes life much easier.TY, Brad.
