Carb substitutions for 87 1000f

I am having trouble finding a rebuild kit for my 1987 1000f. Does anyone have any suggestions for aftermarket or later model carbs that will fit?

Try www.wemoto.com
www.mrcycles.com
www.davidsilverspares.co.uk
They are all good and helpful...........for carb spares...............

Most later model 1000F's will be a close fit - as for other makes - due to the angled fitment it may be a problem

There's a set of Hurricane carbs on ebay right now for $45.

I have a complete set of 87/88 carbs in my cupboard - but they've been there for the last 3 years.O rings and stuff go off quickly when not used for a while.........
It would be reasonable to assume that any set you buy will probably have the same problems as the ones you already own.
Better to buy the parts and fix yours - (unless you want my spares) :)
Nice find though Red !
