Default Proximity Alarms

I have been wanting to purchase a motorcycle alarm that has a proximity sensor. Some of the alarms I've seen skyrocket into $300 but do not feature a proximity alarm. I don't need anything too fancy, but just something to chirp when people are around my bike would be nice. Any recommendations?

Just fair warning: getting the remote start working takes a smile from a benevolent Motorcycle God because the wiring diagram sucks. And the remote paging isn't anywhere near 5000 meters.

Yeah I saw that one, but the post looks so iffy. I've watched videos on that alarm system and it looks legit, but i'm just not sure.

I have one in my F4i. That's how I know about the remote start, wiring diagram and range

I sometimes leave my bike parked in front of the door of my apartment. It's a pretty heavily trafficked sidewalk due to mass transit stops nearby. Prolly once a week some curious kid sets it off by touching my bike a little too roughly. Grabbing a a grip will usually set it off too. Actually mounting up is not an option without setting it off.

Didn't get the one with the proximity alarm though I'm thinking of getting it. Tired of wiping down sticky fingerprints.

Yeah I watched that video, unfortunately the guy didn't buy the proximity add-on. Also, I don't think I will hook up the remote starter. I just wish I knew how to install all this stuff without screwing things up. In addition to the $100 it costs for the alarm, its going to cost another $100-200 to have someone install it.
