Default Carbon fiber or stainless

im looking to get a yoshi rs-5 slip on for my 07 600rr. im not going to be racing the bike so im not too big on the performance issue. i just want a better sound to the bike. i had a yoshi on my 450r and it was awesome. the question i have, is there a big difference in sound between the carbon and stainless??? i know the carbon has better cooling with the heat of the exhaust and it weighs less but thats all i really know about the 2. ive did my research and didnt find any solid answers. so i figured i would ask you guys for some knowledge. thanks

I love my Rs-5 cf. You can put your hand on it after riding for a couple of hours. Awesome sound. I recommend it.

As far as I know, there will be (next to) no difference in sound between the two... CF and stainless are just the materials they make the outer shell with, so they really don't have much to do with the exhaust tone. But still, if you can afford it, go with CF.

it shouldn't... I have an aluminum muffler and it hasn't hurt the bike in any way, shape, or form. I think there's really only three differences between carbon and aluminum: 1) weight (which isn't going to make a difference, really... ) 2) heat dissapation, and 3) the bling factor (carbon fiber = sexy)

Carbon fiber color pigment's will fade out over time from what I hear , dont exactly have any first hand experience with it though.
