97-98 body on a 95

I've posted this thread in a few other areas as well but i thought i'd try posting it in the aftermarket section too...

I wrecked my bike last year and need to get new fairings for it. Well i found fairings for 97-98 bikes and i know the tail section is different. Does anyone know if every body panel bolts right on? Do i need to upgrade the tail light assembly to the 97-98 bike or is it just that i need to change the tail light itself? And please let me know of anything else that i may need to change.

Thanks,
Jason

Everything will bolt right on.

HOWEVER to do it correctly you will need a 1997-98 seat, 1997-98 tail light/tail light bracket, 1997-98 rear fender (undertail), and 1997-98 rear blinkers.

I took a lot of photos when I did the tail swap on my 1996.

I'll make a DIY so everyone can see how to do it, what you need to do it, and the end result.
Maybe It'll be a sticky for future reference so people can use it instead of having to ask/answer this question twice a week?

The 1997-98 tail section is the sex!
