Block off plates

Hey guys, I've got a 98 blade with the usual bolt ons and was looking at a set of smog (emission) block off plates , just wondering if anyone has triied a set on a bike like this and what I could expect as far as pros and cons. I had a zx7 that had it done , but tended to flood without sufficiant cool down time between rides, but it did give me 3 wheel hp on a dyno (thats quite a bump considering its a ram air bike and was standing still!) Any info would be appriciated.

I've got a set on my 929 but it's got a bug so I haven't had a chance to ride it after the install. I got themon e-bay from a company called TPO.

hit up Erion Racing, I bought mine from them a few years ago and they work great. I think they were around $75 bucks

They block off the air injection tubes on the front of the head, And you will lose a couple of pounds by removing them. I removed all the crap on my bike and lost about 7 lbs.

I think the air injection on 900RR's is california only-you guys should read the article about Jesse James in Cycle World this month on page 10.
