RE: Thinking of switching fuel tanks F3 to F4I
In order to keep the gauge you will also need to use the F4i fuel sending unit (and also high pressure fuel pump for EFI)
Also, did you know the F4i *fuel gauge* is nothing more than a reserve alarm? Once you get to your reserve, thats the only time the gauge does anything. Save yourself some time and either walk away, or look into an F4 (no sending unit/carbed)

RE: Thinking of switching fuel tanks F3 to F4I
I was told about the CBR F4 tank that another rider install on his F2. My only question is does the F4 gauges have a low fuel alarm? If it does then I will get that tank and hook it up. I wish someone with a F4 could tell me or not if it has a low fuel alarm.

Valkyie, i'm right there with you! I don't understand why ANY motorcycle manufacturer would make a bike and not have a fuel gauge?! My 250 Ninja is the same way. On it the only way you can tell you're outta gas is when you're rolling and feel the sputter. Once i was at a stop light and revved it a little and sounded alright, but once i started off, it stalled and i knew it was because of fuel. So i was sitting in the middle of the turning lane with the turn arrow green trying to get the reserve fuel pumped through the line. Quite embarrasing and annoying. Sorry for the story.. :P But tell me what ya find as far as tanks w/ gauges that fit an F3. Thanks & good luck!
