R/R cooling
 

Yea I noticed the R/R on my F2 gets HOTTT!

Is this the reason why they crap out all the time?

Would it be a good idea To make some kind of vent or duct to channel ram air to cool it?

OEM? Replace it

Aftermarket ones have heat sinks on them. Even other manufacturers' have heat sinks.

I appreciate the input, but what do you think about my idea?

Not to sure how well it'd work. My experience is with computers. And increasing airflow across a CPU won't take the place of even a cheap heatsink on it. But the duct air might cool it enough to give it a longer life.

Might try looking into a computer cpu heatsink and modifying it to fit.

Do the mod to the gsxr unit...it's really easy.
