New plastic for an older 600?

I have a 98 CBR 600. The plastic is worn and tired looking. What I would like to know is, can I modify newer plastic, say from a 2000 CBR 600, to fit my bike?

Yes but it may not be easy. There will more than likely be some bracket modifications and drilling and fiberglassing involved. It's not a direct bolt up that's for sure but people have done it.
If you just want to shine them up then I'd recomend painting them. It's cheap and easy. If they're cracked or wrecked then you can get a set shipped from china for around 500 on eBay.

I may just buy new plastic that fits my bike but I really like the split headlight and dual seat look of the early 2000's body style!

Its not easy but doable! I'm trying to get hold of some fairings for my f3 and like you , I also like the split light and seat ! I'm looking at a full 05 06 set . Can anyone tell me what years would fit? And if there is any differance f4i and 600rr front fairings? I know any tail would work just Ned some info on front. And can I use stock cluster with this conversion or do I have to get new one. ? Thanks guys !
