Default installing frame sliders

Is there anyone out there who installed there own frame sliders. I just got vortex frame sliders for my 03'rr. They came with instalation instructions but I just wanted to consult with all of you who have put them on there own ride. Is there any tricks on how to do it with out make it look like a hack job. If there is anyone who can give any pointers that would be great.

thanks in advance

the search is your friend

for the sliders heres a easy easy way to do it:
1. take fairing off.
2. back out the bolt where the slider is going to go far enough to just touch the fairing
3. put play-do on the fairing and reattach
4. take the fairing off
5. tape the painted side of the fairing so you dont chip the paint
6. drill a small hole through the middle of the bolt head mark in the play-do
7. take a hole saw and drill the hole from the painted sided though the fairing.
8. remove the tape and you should be good to go..

heres a pic of mine. i got the extended sliders too..hope it helps.. you cant see them that great but it shows.
