AKHS,

No the ebook would not cover the exhaust or single sided swing. It would only cover making the fairing. Maybe later doing the swingarm.

I would love to get ahold of the info. you do awsome work! I am also interested in the single sided swing arm conversion too. If you wanted to be a sweet heart you could send me the fairings you creat for the video or the old ones if you decide to put the new ones on?

Thats just sick, very creative! I have seen plenty of guys mold different fairings together, and well to...but I have to admit your work looks (Skunk Works/HRC) factory. Awesome job! I feel the same as Gotcbr, I love to see photos and read the "complete" how to's, but there definitely seems to be a shortage of these in the CBR world ( the complete part) and I would love more info on how you did this.

I have been hella busy. Just got done with finals and starting summer school to hurry up and get done with school. Working on either rebuilding my engine or swapping engines because I have a busted case.

I see R1 fairings are dirt cheap on ebay now. Maybe I will make this ebook before the summer is up. Thanks for all the good words.

Anyone know where I can get an F3 enigne?

I figure if I did the ebook for the R1 fairing I would need to collect money from those interested before I start the project. Most likely it would be 5 bucks each through paypal. I would have to have enough people interested and willing to pay the 5 or 10 bucks in order to cover the amount of money I would need for fairings and materials. I could even do a newer R1 if you guys like. Plus I would use the cheaper ebay headlights that will really save money.

im down. how did you do your blends? were you able to butt? did you have to start with a foam core? or were you able to just feather the ends? Wet lay-up or prepregs?

No, I just bought some used parts from ebay as cheap as possible. Then I cut them and fiberglassed them together. Then add in the body filler.

Im asking fiberglass methods of joining..were you able to just butt the ends together and fiberglass them. if so, did you leave the ends normal or did you feather them. or did you have to use a foam core in order to make the transitions from one piece to the next..etc
