well the F3 to F4i swap will give you the basics - same concepts. The rest you'll probably need to break out some wiring schematics of the 2 bikes, compare what is the same and then start looking for workarounds for the rest.
none of this stuff is straightforward - if no one else has done it before, and there truly isn't a how-to on here, then it's time to start your own. |
Match up wire for wire .....I jus did the swap it was a 20 minute job

If you've done an F4-to-F4i gauge swap, I'd certainly like to see it w/ detailed pics & instructions. Perhaps do a how-to post. While there have been "write-ups" in the past, there's not been anything in detail w/ pics & organized instructions like a proper how-to. |
+1 The gauge swap is not a straight across swap there are a few wires that need to be swapped. You will also need a Temp sensor from 1999 cbr900RR. If you dont swap the sensor then the gauge wont read the right temp.
Here are the threads I used for my swap it is very easy to do. https://cbrforum.com/forum/cbr-600f4...ap-help-98780/ https://cbrforum.com/forum/cbr-600f4...wap-pic-93064/ |
