CBR F3 trying to put a F2 engine in or fix the F3`
 

So quick (long) backstory,

got the bike last year
did a track day
hesistation/stutter at high rpms sometime
got it on a dyno, hesitation stutter and ~15.4/1 afr at points but put 92 whp down
spent ****ing ages trying to get the jetting right.
it also was occasionally popping out of seccond so i figured it needed the trans looked over.. picked up an f2 engine (same trans I was told minus a gear ratio) well dropped the oil pan on the f3 engine ( it is stamped "high performance" where the normal stamp would be and boom brittal metal https://i.imgur.com/5Uidbsm.jpg I'm guessing it maybe came from redlining after popping out of second? I'm not sure... the motor is bored out with weisco pistons I know that for sure, I'm guessing it might have been camed not positive on that though (the f3 motor that is)

from where though? didn't hear any knocking or see anything in the head. it was all solid pieces? what the heck is it from?

Anyway decide the F2 motor bolts up (except the carbs seem a bit lower now more on that later) Bolt it up, I still have the f3 carbs and stuff so put caps over the carb heat and hook everything else up try to fire it up and blah. I originally put in 128 jets on the sides and 130 in the middle going from 134's all around with the other engine. With some starter fluid it kinda trys and sounds eh but just backfires and blows out my eardrums.

I put in 132 jets on the sides now i think and 130 in the middle and i'm shooting flames out the intake tubes with the airbox removed and starter fluid there.

DOES THE F2 and F3 have the same timing and everything should work, what the heck is happening. I do get spark on all plugs....


What jets should I go with when the internals of both engines are unknown but the f2 was a spare for a track bike...



It doesnt have a spedo so I don't care about that or any of the other non essentials I just want it to run.
