Go here & download the online version of the service manual...should be able to read all schematics...hondatech.info: Honda service manuals

You can just pull one of the fuses, and then shove the fuse back in with the wire straddled on the reciever 'fork' (on the supply side). Not the main, the accessory fuse
bus.

Since I was adding some other components as well, I added a relayed, fuse block. I triggered the relay off the tail-lights. and gave the VM it's own 2amp fuse position.

the koso volt meter saves the day! i was able to save a lot of work and money today. the ground came loose on my little cpu fan i hooked up to my r/r. with mid day heat my r/r over heated and fried two of three stator wires hooked to the r/r. without seeing the low reading via the volt meter i would have been stranded some where again and probably replacing charging system parts too.

point is, if i didnt have it i would have kept riding until the bike shut down. to me, that little koso is the best mod i have done. it just saved my ass...wheew!

im thinking of relocating the r/r to the front of the bike somewhere

yeah, i just got done with straight wiring the new r/r yesterday. holds 14.5 volts at idle and at higher rpms. i hope that by bypassing the solenoid switch and other wiring the r/r will stay a little cooler and have less resistance from now on. im working a double shift at work now. i'll get off at 7am for the first test ride on the way home...ooops i just told on myself. did the wiring job at work last night, lol.
