Default yoshimura rs-5

I just recently completed the install of my new yoshimura exhaust. I took the bike for a ride and when I got home and off the bike I noticed a little bit of smoke coming out of the end of the exhaust, is that normal or is there something else I should be looking for. Thanks in advance.

They usually put a thin coating of a type of "sealant" on your exhaust components. Keeps them clean and such while in storage/shipping. It'll burn off quickly and you won't have any problems after that.

you made sure to take the street baffle out right? My buddy just put an rs-5 on his bike and rode around for 2 weeks not realizing that he could take the baffle out. When he took it out and heard how much better it sounded he had a huge smile on his face.

Emphasis on the fact that you have the "choice" to take it out. Cool looks and sound is good, but there's a balance! If you like it loud and crazy, keep the baffle out, but keep it around so you can quiet the thing back down after you get pulled over.
