For those who know what they are doing..1994 CBR 600F2 conversion

Hi everyone, I'm looking for any help available on a current delima I'm faced with. I own as the title says, a 94 CBR600F2, "originally" she was in all but perfect condition until someone decided they wanted to relieve me of my front right fairing's. So I decided instead of having an eyesore just to remove them all sans the front that cover the headlight. I honestly don't mind it (seems to run a bit cooler now lol), however I just can't stand the unsightly look of the seat and rear light. So I opted to check around online for people who have successful completed a conversion to a newer style. This is where I encountered my second issue, I know almost zero about replacing the parts that I need to look for. These would be:

1. Rear tail light/cowl (?) I'd like to avoid any frame modifications if possible as when speaking with a friend who use to race bikes said that this could lead to some instability.
2. Rear seat (I really like the split seat of the newer model bikes)
3. Rear faring's
4. Front faring's

I realize this is quite a substantial amount of information I'm looking for, I've searched the forums, looked online for other's who have done this and any information they could provide but other than pic's of before/after there's very little information as to the actual process lol. Thanks in advance for any help that you guys can offer on this.

There was a poster who had a really nice finished product similar to the look I was trying to go for: https://cbrforum.com/forum/cbr-600f-...nished-154529/
:icon_omg: so hot...

Are you tring to fix an entire new bodywork on, or just a tail section?

I would start by looking into whether or not anyone does an aftermarket kit that looks a little different - Tyga do a lot of thes kinds of things, as one example, aftermarket kits that have a different appearance from stock, but that fit with little or no mods.

A second option, look into race bodywork, and cut in holes for any lights etc you need. You could also look into endurace style stuff if thats your thing.

Id start by doing a lot of googling with different keyword to see what you come up with.

Welcome to the forum Franki,
I feel the pain, it sucks.

I agree with searching the net. A lot of good stuff out there. That's a hot looking ride in that link. Maybe PM the member and ask where the parts came from.
