Yes the seat in the pic above is an aftermarket seat. Looks like a Corbin.

Thanks. I guess I got lucky that the original owner of my bike kept the oem seat, being vertically challenged I like having the additional leg reach.

I've never owned one myself but I hear Corbins are much more comfy over stock. They are pretty darn expensive too.

Yeah the seat on the bike is a Corbin Seat. He said I could have either that one or stock, whichever I wanted. I talked to him and we settled on $3600. If he doesnt sell it this weekend (some DB is gonna come look at it possibly) I am gonna pick it up the week of the 22nd (that is this coming week).

I really hope this deal goes through. You couldnt find a better condition bike. Everybody please cross your fingers for me.

I wouldn't want that one to get away. Couldn't you guys do a deposit situation? I've purchased a bike that way b/f. We wrote up a non-refundable deposit contract. I put down $300 & had the weekend to get the rest of the funds in cash. Worked out great. Maybe that's an option for you. Couldn't hurt to ask.

Well I talked to the guy today. He said since I show so much interest he is going to push the guy coming to look at it to next weekend, leaving me all week to come grab it. So as it stands, I will have this bike in my possession sometime next week

Still trying to figure out how to get it from Raleigh back to Charlotte. 3 solid hours on 85 south. Think I am going to find a friend with a truck and tow it back here. Being a new bike (to me) I am not sure if I want to risk getting to know it on a busy interstate haha.
