Default Suspension swaps.

After perusing used parts on Ebay, I wondered how difficult it would be to mount inverted forks on my litlle 600. Has anyone ever done this? I know it has been done, I'm asking if anyone here has done it personally. To me it seems the only problems with say taking a set of forks from a GSXR would be simple matters of fairing clearance and/or shimming at the head. But I dunno...never done it.

Anyone been here and done this?

i'm looking into putting the 05 inverted RR forks on my F4i. as far as i know at the moment i'll need to buy the whole front end assembly wheel and clipons included. the only thing i'm worried about fitting is the diameter and length of the triple tree because i'm not sure what it is.

The F4i has 43mm fork tubes, 03-04 600RR has 45mm tubes, and 05-07 600RR has 48mm fork tubes. You would have to swap tripple trees with what ever front end you go with also since the F4i has smaller tubes and therefore, a different front end would not fit in the f4i's tripple. I had heard that a certain year R6 had the same diameter tubes as the f4i if you can research that
