which slip on for my 05 cbr600rr?
 

I have a 06 with the wrp and am looking to put just a slip on on my 05 and cant decide between the two bros or the yoshi rs-5..my question is which one is louder? i like the sound of both of them from what ive heard on youtube but want to get which ever one is the louder one of the two.

If you want loud, Get the 2Bros, devil or D&D
If you want a little louder, go with the Yosh or Akra.


2Bros will probably be louder at lower rpms were the Yosh will be about the same at higher rpms.

2bros is a deeper rumble were Yosh is more of a screamer.

No one is replying because you're a new member posting the dreaded "WHICH SLIP-ON SOUNDS BEST" topic. Everyone's reading the topic going "OH GOD NO" and going on to the next. Check the search, you'll find over 750 inconclusive threads on the matter. This one sure isn't gonna solve this dead horse. It's like asking which oil to buy.

Youtube vids are the worst place to listen to exhausts because you have no idea what kind of recording equipment was used to pick up the sound. Even when the sounds seems really good, the vids are often being filmed to promote how great the exhaust in the vid is, so I still wouldn't trust them as being objective.

Your best bet is to go down to a sport bike day wherever (out by me it's every Tuesday night at the mall). There'll be 300 03-06 CBRs, so you're guaranteed to find a few of your year with different exhausts on them. THAT'S the only way you're gonna find what you like: Hearing it in person on your year and model.

Overall, 2bros are loud, and they sound like fart cans on the 600's. Some guys like that. The Yosh sounds like Nascar on most bikes (screaming especially at high RPMs), and the Akropovics are really loud, and somewhat growly and screamy.
