Hi all,
I've got an '06 CBR and almost have 150 miles on it. I am planning on buying a slip-on soon and wasn't sure if I should wait to install it until I have around 600 miles on the bike, which is the suggested break in period? Just curious to whether I should completely break the bike in before modifying anything, what are your suggestions, better yet what have you done? Thanks!!

 

i've seen brand new bikes in the showroom with aftermarket exhausts before so i don't think it matters.

 

I bought my 06 with 1 mile on it, brought it home and put a Yoshi RS-5 and a K&N filter before I ever rode it. The dealer was selling brand new bikes with pipes already installed. I just did the first 600 mile oil change on friday and the bike screams.

 

I put mine on with about 50 miles. Go a head and get it as soon as you want.
