Default Need help lowering ft.

I recently lowered the rear of my bike with the vortex link(like a triangle, about 1 inch drop). I would like to lower the ft. as well. I heard that you can lower the front by raising or extending the forks over the triple clamp. If this can be done, thereis the top clamps and the lower clamps right? Just loosen them all up and push done on the ft. end or what? Any feedback is appreciated.

I know that this CAN be done but not sure how safe it is. I have a couple buddys with gsxr's and they can lower close to an inch this way. On our bike, however, the forks are tapered just beyond where they are clamped so you cannot lower them very much.

Another option would be those ratchet straps that strap the triple tree and the brake calipers together, basically keeping the fork compressed. Not sure how good this is for your bike, just another option.

probably not the best idea.

you should be fine lowing the clamps, just dont over do it, and make sure they are even.

...or keep your bike at stock height, it will handle better and tip toeing is not that bad.
