lowering
 
I am 5'2" and i have a 600f2. i want to lower it but i don't want mess with performance. I herd if i put a F3 rear shock it will lower seat hight about 1". Or should i just get the 1" to 3" lowering link. will the link mess with handeling too much?

there are a ton of topics about lowering on here, but yes a f3 shock will give you1" lower..
FYI- if you use the link that will be 1.5" in the rear and you will have to raise the triple trees up 1 1/4"

i have lowered alot of bikes so if you need any info let me know.. theres also write up in the how to section that i did..

but do not lower it the 3" you have to modify the linkage for the suspension, you will bottom out on the undertail and the front fender will hit the radiator along with blowing your fork seals in abouta week..

oh yeah one more thing that i forgot to tell you in the first post, you are going to have to take about 1" out of your kickstand too...
