Buy a twin....even the 07's got nothing on a twin.
But you could change your gearing, maybe one tooth down in the front or two teeth up in the rear, or even both. Won't really give any more torque, but more thrust which feels like more torque.

You can go buy sprockets to change the number of teeth. i have an 02 f4i and went down one tooth in the front and went 2 teeth up in the back. i love the change. the torque doesnt change but where the torque peaks does. i would say if u want low torque -1/+2 will do the trick. I have had vortex sprockets for quite some time and they are great. also i went and got a new RK chain as well with the new sprockets.

It is funny, I was at a 'biker bar' the other day and there were these 'Harley-Guys' talking about how fast their bikes were. One guy made the statement that his bike was a 'stage 3' and went 70 mph in third gear. Since I was outnumbered I didn't want to get into the discussion, but our bikes do 70+ in first (a 1krr is about 104mph). There is so much f***ing torque available to the f4ithat these bike have to be geared in this manner to keep the front wheel near the ground. If a F4i was geared like a Harley, say 30 mph in first, the bike would loop in a heartbeat and every twist of the throttle would be a scene out of 'natural born stunterz'. I don't know about you, but I don't want to ride a 400lb, 150 mph unicycle.
Isn't it strange that a Hayabusa is only slightly faster than an F4i in the quarter mile (approx. 9.9 v. 10.9)? The motor has gobs of torque and is 2x bigger, the problem is keepin the front wheel down and/or traction.
My motto is, 'who needs torque when you got revs?'.
