Homemade fender eliminator on 07 600rr
Well. I finally got busted for my fender eliminator on my 07rr. In process of making a homemade one with some sheet metal using the brake light, turn signals, and led plate light from my previous elim kit. I was just wondering who else has a "Homemade" fender eliminator on their 07rr? Possibly post some pics for me to see and get some ideas? :P

HA.... Im still waiting for that ticket. I took the bikelitez eliminator, cut and flipped it, and mounted it to the top of my hugger with the light strip on the top.. It looks real slick, but you cant even see the tail light, which is why i dont ride at night (sucks). What I have the parts for and im going to do is the fllowing. 06 rear integrated tail light fits in the 07 tail with just a little dremel and heat gun fabrication. From there you need to extend down the muffler bracket to give the tail light a little more room, but only like 10mm. That solves the light and blinker problem. I did some digging and the sprocket gaurd vertical tag holder from an 06 fits on the 07 with no mods, they just havent updated there books. I bought mine from 1tail and it was like 90 bucks. Gives the tail a nice clean look... Unfortunatily though because the brake light isnt in the tail of the bike from the factory you have to get creative, but if you can fabricate, then its not too big of a deal.

Cut my orignal down to this....
Then went to this....
Probably not legal, but it's actually pretty visible from the rear, and it has a pretty bright plate light, which is why i think i haven't gotten any crap for it yet.....(knock on wood!) It's been my experience that they tend to get more worked up about the lack of plate light than anything. Just my $.02 though
